Alabaster Picnic Company was born, like many companies, out of frustration. 
My husband was turning 44 years old and I wanted to do something different and really special for him. He's such an amazing guy that anytime it's time to celebrate him I want to make it memorable. My idea was to do a picnic in a bubble tent, set it up outside in our backyard to enjoy a beautiful meal under the stars. He loves watching movies so I wanted to watch his favorite movie on the screen projector in the tent and just relax and enjoy each others company. That sounded so memorable but the only problem is that there was not a business within 200mi that offered these services.

So I reached out to a businesswoman doing something similar, in another state, to mentor me so that I could bring this experience to my hometown. It was in that moment that Alabaster Picnic Company was born. I am a creative at heart and I have always had a passion for planning small celebratory events and small gatherings that bring loved ones together to enjoy life.
